from Bulukumba, or about 200 km from Makassar. From Makassar to
Bulukumba can be taken by public transportation, or personal car that is
used as public transport, with cost IDR 35,000/person. After you got
into Bulukumba, you can continue the trip by mikrolet (pete-pete) with cost IDR 10,000/person. The time needed to get into Tanjung Bira from Makassar is about 4 hours.
If tourists are coming from Hasanudin
airport, they can take taxi straightly to Malengkeri terminal with cost
about IDR 40,000. Once you reach the terminal, continue the trip by
taking bus to Bulukumba or straightly to Tanjung Bira. In Tnajung Bira,
public transportation operates till afternoon only. So, manage your time
well.
